The Foundation, comprised of community volunteers, is dedicated to serving our community. Our members strive to develop a closer affiliation between the system and our community through communication, educational programs and fundraising. By working in collaboration with the community, we can provide services, which result in measurable health improvements for all.

Each donation is used by the Foundation to assure the high standards of treatment and care that are vital to the health of everyone in our community. The Foundation project is selected by community leaders and volunteers to provide the greatest impact on healthcare service to a variety of patients and families in Coffee and surrounding counties. The Foundation project provides programs and services that would not be possible without community support.

The CRMC Foundation's Current Project
CRMC Wellness Center & Cardiac Rehab

Choosing a Wellness Center as our first major campaign, the Coffee Regional Medical Center Foundation wanted to offer our community a "user friendly" environment that would encourage people to stay with a regular wellness program. Through a comprehensive lifestyle program that encompasses exercise along with fitness education, our goal is to reduce the risk factors associated with many of the medical conditions that are so prevalent in our region, such as hypertension, obesity, and diabetes.

A vital part of the Wellness Center is the Cardiac Rehab program. Many in our community have struggled with the limitations of cardiac disease, and the burden of driving out of town three days a week, for more than 6 weeks, for rehabilitation following a cardiac event. This physician-prescribed program can now be completed right here at the Wellness Center, making a significant impact on the recovery and well being of these patients.

Over 50 community voluteers are working to raise $1 million to meet the financial commitment that made this center a reality.
