Coffee Regional Medical Center Visitation Policy

Coffee Regional Medical Center is committed to providing patients and visitors a safe environment.

In an effort to provide a nurturing environment that is caring, supportive, and healing to our patients, the ICU and all Nursing Floors observe QUIET TIME from 2p – 4p each day. Unit doors on all nursing floors will remain closed during quiet time, and visitation will be limited. Please help us maintain a quiet environment so our patients can rest.

There are three visitation levels: Green, Yellow, and Red. Each level has been assigned a designated color to reflect our current visitation policy.

These guidelines pertain to OUTPATIENT PROCEDURES as well.

Coffee Regional Medical Center is currently under a GREEN VISITATION LEVEL.

COVID-positive patients are not allowed to have visitorsOur caregivers and staff will work with COVID + Patient’s family members to ensure communication is clear and possible with each patient.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep your loved ones safe and healthy.

Green visitation levels indicate COVID-19 case levels are low. A designated visitor may stay overnight but is permitted to re-enter if they leave the facility after designated visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Visitors are permitted in most areas from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Masks are recommended but not required to be worn by patients, visitors, and staff who are not in direct patient care areas.

Yellow visitation levels indicate COVID-19 case levels are elevated. One designated visitor is permitted in most areas. A designated visitor is allowed when necessary for outpatient procedures. The designated visitor may stay overnight but is not permitted to re-enter if they leave the facility after designated visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Masks are required to be worn by all patients, visitors, and staff while inside CRMC.

Red visitation levels indicate COVID-19 case levels are high. No visitors are permitted. Only a designated visitor is allowed when our caregivers deem it necessary for outpatient procedures or those patients who physically or for compassionate care reasons require a family member’s presence. For those hospitalized patients requiring a designated visitor, the designated visitor may stay overnight but is not permitted to re-enter if they leave the facility after designated visiting hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. While under RED level, each patient will have a designated contact who will communicate with our caregivers and receive patient updates. If permitted, masks are required to be worn along with additional safety measures if necessary.

Once again, for all the above levels, COVID-positive patients are not allowed to have visitors.

SPECIAL NOTICE:
