Cancer Care Close to Home
Breakthroughs. They give cancer patients real hope every day. Which is why our latest breakthrough is offering personalized oncology care right here in Douglas. Our leading oncologist, Dr. Eric Anderson, has partnered with Coffee Regional to offer a full spectrum of cancer care, including immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and chemotherapy administered in an on-site infusion center located inside Coffee Regional Medical Center. So now, cancer patients and their families can benefit from care that’s just around the corner.
Our cancer specialists work directly with the patients and family members to explain what the diagnosis means, recommend the best course of treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and other therapies, and either provide or work as part of a medical team to care for you during your treatment. Each diagnosis and treatment journey is unique, and at CRH Oncology Group, each patient in a personalized manner to reflect that.
CRH Oncology Group services all of South Georgia in the treatment of adult malignancies, ranging from lung, colon, and breast cancers, to lymphomas, leukemias, and sarcomas. Our team will continue to follow you after successful treatment, making sure cancer does not return unnoticed. When a cure is not possible, they concentrate on medical care to reduce the severity of symptoms, relieving suffering, and improving the patients’ quality of life.
