Douglas, GA (April 17, 2026) — Coffee Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is proud to recognize its continued partnership with Truist, whose generous support is helping sustain the Open Arms Clinic, a vital program providing non-emergent medical care to uninsured and low-income residents of Coffee and Atkinson counties.
The Open Arms Clinic serves as a critical bridge for patients who might otherwise go without essential follow-up care. Many individuals are referred to the clinic after hospitalization for chronic conditions, but lack access to ongoing primary care. Through this program, patients receive services such as physical exams, limited laboratory testing, chronic disease management, and health education at little to no cost.
Access to care remains a significant need in Coffee and Atkinson counties, where many residents face financial barriers to healthcare. The Open Arms Clinic helps address this gap by offering a consistent, compassionate source of care for those who need it most.
Truist’s support plays an important role in sustaining and strengthening the clinic’s impact, helping ensure that individuals and families in our community have access to the care they deserve.
