Douglas, GA – If you are currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, now is the time to review your insurance coverage. Coffee Regional Medical Center encourages Medicare Advantage members to take time to ensure they understand their coverage and confirm which healthcare providers and services are in network.
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period runs through March 31, 2026, and gives individuals already enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan the opportunity to evaluate whether their current coverage still meets their healthcare needs.
This review period can help patients identify important details about their coverage, including provider networks and potential out-of-pocket costs.
During the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period, members can:
- Review their current plan benefits and provider network
- Identify potential coverage gaps or out-of-network services that could lead to higher out-of-pocket costs
- Switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan if their current coverage does not meet their needs
- Return to Original Medicare, with the option to enroll in a standalone Part D prescription drug plan to maintain prescription coverage

Please note that this enrollment period is only available to individuals who were already enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan as of January 1, 2026. Individuals enrolled in Original Medicare cannot use this period to join a Medicare Advantage plan.
